US Army Evaluates DZYNE's IonStrike for Drone Defense Operations
The US Army is testing DZYNE Technologies' IonStrike interceptors to enhance defenses against drone threats. This initiative aims to integrate advanced capabilities into existing air defense systems, addressing the growing complexity of uncrewed aircraft systems (UAS).

The 52d Air Defense Artillery Brigade is conducting tests of IonStrike, a kinetic interceptor developed by DZYNE Technologies, to strengthen defenses against UAS. Designed to integrate with existing command-and-control systems, IonStrike allows operators to engage drone threats dynamically.
Testing includes trials with a four-interceptor setup, with plans for a 12-interceptor configuration to counter drone swarms. The system features capabilities for aborting or redirecting launches based on real-time information.
Future assessments will evaluate performance across multiple operational criteria, including integration and effectiveness against various drone types. Additionally, DZYNE secured a contract for ULTRA Turbo platforms, enhancing reconnaissance capabilities.
