U.S. Army Partners with AWS for International Drone Marketplace Launching Next Month
The U.S. Army is set to launch an online drone marketplace in partnership with Amazon Web Services, allowing compliant drone manufacturers to list products for American and foreign units. The United Kingdom has signed an agreement to participate, with additional countries expected to join. The marketplace aims to streamline the procurement process for drones and components, enabling faster purchases and adaptations for military and law enforcement agencies.

The U.S. Army, in collaboration with Amazon Web Services, will launch an online drone marketplace next month for U.S. and allied units. Drone manufacturers compliant with U.S. regulations can list products, with the United Kingdom already signed up and more countries anticipated to follow.
This initiative aims to improve procurement efficiency for unmanned technology across military and law enforcement agencies. The marketplace will enable units to quickly order drones and spare parts, and allow adaptation listings. The Army aims for over 15 nations to access this platform by summer, significantly enhancing their operational capabilities.
