The U.S. Army's $27 million Army Transport Edge project in South Korea is nearing completion after 18 months of work. The project modernizes the communications network connecting 52 sites, enhancing broadband, voice, and video capabilities while improving cybersecurity.

Empower AI was awarded a contract in November 2023 to support the initiative. The Army aims to transition off the legacy network by September 26, 2024. The modernization enhances the Army's ability to manage network traffic and supports operations during exercises and emergencies. While the network is operational, some automation features are still under development.
