The US Air Force has awarded a $488 million contract to Northrop Grumman Systems Corp. for engineering and technical support of F-16 radar systems, including the APG-66 and APG-68 models. This contract is part of the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program and supports multiple partner countries, including Pakistan, with work scheduled to be completed by March 31, 2036.
The award follows a proposed $686 million package for Pakistan's F-16 fleet, which includes upgrades to avionics, secure communications, and operational flight programs.
