In 2025, U.S. companies secured $244 billion in foreign contracts, a significant increase driven by Boeing's jetliner orders, which soared to 1,075. The contracts, supported by the U.S. Commerce Department, included major deals such as a $96 billion agreement with Qatar Airways and a $50 billion contract with Korean Air Lines, contributing to approximately $206 billion in U.S. export content and supporting around 844,000 jobs. The total also featured $10 billion in defense contracts and significant agreements in energy and technology sectors.

In 2025, U.S. companies, with support from the U.S. Commerce Department, signed foreign government procurement contracts totaling $244 billion, nearly tripling the 2024 amount. This increase was primarily driven by Boeing's surge in jetliner orders, which rose to 1,075 from 377 in 2024.
The 121 contracts contained approximately $206 billion in U.S. export content, supporting about 844,000 jobs. Key deals included a $96 billion agreement with Qatar Airways for Boeing 787 and 777X aircraft and a $50 billion contract with Korean Air Lines.
The total also encompassed $10 billion in defense contracts, $7 billion in energy contracts, and $3.4 billion in technology contracts. Additionally, Wabtec secured a $4.2 billion contract to supply locomotives to Kazakhstan, contributing to the overall contract value, which also included infrastructure projects.
