US Marine Corps Modifies AH-1Z Viper for Potential Ukraine Supply
The US Marine Corps is adapting Red Wolf missiles for the AH-1Z Viper helicopters, which may be supplied to Ukraine. This advancement in long-range precision weaponry enhances Ukraine’s airstrike capabilities significantly.

The US Marine Corps is integrating Red Wolf precision-guided missiles with Bell AH-1Z Viper helicopters for potential deployment to Ukraine. These missiles, part of the Precision Attack Strike Munition (PASM) program, are developed in collaboration with L3Harris and are capable of striking targets over 200 nautical miles (370 km), surpassing current helicopter weapon ranges.
The initiative includes exploring industrial partnerships with Ukraine’s Economy Ministry and UkraineInvest for the procurement of UH-1Y and AH-1Z helicopters, which will feature the Red Wolf system. This modification could provide Ukraine with enhanced airstrike capabilities and a strategic advantage in conflict scenarios.
