U.S. Military Innovations Drive Drone Technology and Biotech Investments Amid Defense Spending Surge

DEFENSE

Ukraine's 'Army of Drones' project has established drones as a primary anti-tank weapon, credited with over half of the destruction on the front lines. Following this success, the U.S. military reportedly deployed kamikaze drones in a Venezuelan operation that captured the president, boosting defense stocks.

A new initiative called the 'Genesis Mission' aims for significant U.S. government investments in drone technologies. Ondas Holdings Inc. (ONDS), known for its automated aerial security drones and a new predator drone system, is set to expand after acquiring Roboteam and raising $1 billion for production growth.

Biotech investments are also gaining attention, with Greenwich LifeSciences Inc. (GLSI) and Intellia Therapeutics Inc. (NTLA) highlighted for their potential in innovative drug development. The FDA's new regulatory roadmap for gene-editing drugs may further accelerate advancements in this field.
