The U.S. Navy has awarded RTX Corp. a $26.8 million contract for the BladeRunner program, focusing on ultra-wideband digital signal processing. Additionally, Castelion Corp. secured a $50 million order for hypersonic missile prototypes under the Blackbeard program. Both contracts aim to enhance military capabilities in radar, communications, electronic warfare, and hypersonic strike operations.

The U.S. Navy has contracted RTX Corp. for $26.8 million to develop a digital signal processing subsystem via the BladeRunner program. This program focuses on creating a high-performance RF system in a 6U VPX form-factor for radar, communications, and electronic warfare, to be completed by February 2028.
In a separate initiative, Castelion Corp. received a $50 million order for full-scale prototypes and testing of the Blackbeard tactical hypersonic missile, designed for affordability and mass production, with completion expected by November 2027.
