U.S. Navy to Solicit Follow-On Unrestricted Contract for Cyberspace Operations Support

DEFENSE

The U.S. Navy plans to issue a solicitation for a follow-on unrestricted multiple-award contract (MAC) to support operational planning and technology development for cyberspace operations. The Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific will accept comments on the procurement until February 14, with the solicitation expected to be released in February.

The contract will provide professional and technical services, including technology assessment, systems engineering, and cybersecurity, with an estimated 619,491 labor hours. It will be open to both large and small businesses and will result in multiple indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contracts with a five-year base term and a two-year option. NIWC Pacific previously awarded contracts to several companies in 2019 and plans to pursue a separate follow-on procurement for small businesses estimated for fiscal year 2026.
