Major contractors like General Dynamics and its subsidiary General Dynamics Electric Boat are expected to hire local firms, including Espey Mfg. & Electronics, DK Machine, Albany Valve & Fitting, and P1 Industries, for contracts related to submarine production.
Notably, Espey secured a $29.5 million contract to support the Columbia class.
