The Typhon Mid-Range Capability launchers, capable of firing Tomahawk missiles, are central to these plans. Joint military activities are set to increase significantly in 2026, while both nations condemned China's actions in the South China Sea. Internal divisions within the Philippine government have emerged regarding military alignment with the US.
