USACE Sacramento District Project Manager A. Gülce Büyük Earns Master's in Building Construction from Auburn University
A. Gülce Büyük, project manager in the Military Section of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' Sacramento District, has completed her Master of Science in Building Construction from Auburn University.
This two-year hybrid program ran from August 2023 to December 2025. Büyük holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Kirikkale University in Turkey and a master's from Anglia Ruskin University in the UK.
Her thesis examined the impact of national and organizational culture on project communication in multinational construction teams, earning her the Outstanding Executive Graduate Student Award. This degree enhances her role at USACE, particularly in pre-award design phases, improving efficiency in government construction projects.
