US Army Garrison Ansbach has finalized the demolition of a historical fuel point to facilitate a new Tactical Equipment Maintenance Facility. This project is crucial for supporting the operational needs of the 1-57 Air Defense Artillery Regiment.

The demolition of a fuel point at Barton Barracks, operational since 1945, has been completed by U.S. Army Garrison Ansbach, with plans to construct a Tactical Equipment Maintenance Facility (TEMF) to aid the 1-57 Air Defense Artillery Regiment.
The TEMF construction is set for contract award in summer 2027, along with additional projects including a battalion headquarters and two Unaccompanied Personnel Housing developments beginning in late 2026.
