Uzbekistan Advances AI Ecosystem with New Initiatives and Infrastructure
Uzbekistan aims to enter the top 50 in the AI readiness index by 2030, with a target of $1.5 billion in AI software revenue. The country is expanding its computing infrastructure and launching over 200 projects to enhance AI's integration across various sectors.

Uzbekistan has risen 25 places to rank 62nd in the international AI readiness index and plans to be in the top 50 by 2030. The government intends to increase the value of AI software products and services to $1.5 billion while implementing more than 200 new projects.
The Digital Government data center recently commissioned a supercomputer based on NVIDIA technology, ranking 321st globally, with 90% operational capacity reached in one month. Modern computing infrastructure worth $24 million has been established, with an additional $70 million proposed for expansion.
More than 1.5 million users have received AI training, and over 100 AI projects are expected in sectors like healthcare and energy. International cooperation through WAICO is intended to facilitate advanced technology adoption and training of specialists.
