Uzbekistan and Sasol Explore Gas-Chemical Project Expansion

Uzbekistan's Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade, Laziz Kudratov, met with Dr. Sarushen Pillay of Sasol Limited on March 15 to discuss the expansion of cooperation in the gas-chemical and coal-chemical sectors.
This dialogue follows discussions from February in Cape Town. The meeting focused on joint projects for deep processing of coal and natural gas, as well as Sasol's potential role in the Coal-to-Olefins project. Additionally, the parties addressed technological collaboration in the Uzbekistan GTL complex, emphasizing capacity expansion and advanced processing technologies.
