Vbot and Lumos Robotics Secure Significant Funding for Advanced Robotics Development
Vbot has closed a Pre-A funding round of nearly 500 million yuan to advance humanoid robot development and expand its sales network. Lumos Robotics has also secured hundreds of millions of yuan in A1 and A2 funding to enhance its embodied intelligence solutions, led by Mitsubishi Electric.
Vbot's recent Pre-A funding of approximately 500 million yuan will support mass production and R&D for humanoid robots, following the launch of its first smart companion robot, the Big Head BoBo. The company aims to deliver over 1,500 units in May, scaling production to 2,500 units by June.
Vbot's development strategy focuses on creating a full-size humanoid body with advanced capabilities and an Agentic OS for various applications. Meanwhile, Lumos Robotics has raised hundreds of millions in funding for its embodied large-model R&D, led by Mitsubishi Electric.
This partnership facilitates the deployment of solutions across industrial settings, enhancing quality inspection processes and fostering a data-driven approach to achieving general intelligence in robotics. Both companies are positioned to impact the robotics industry significantly.
