Vemulawada Temple Town to Enhance Tourism with Infrastructure Projects
Vemulawada is undergoing significant development to boost tourism, with infrastructure projects set to be completed by August 2027. Key initiatives include renovations at Sri Rajarajeshwara Swamy temple and the introduction of new attractions to increase visitor engagement.

Vemulawada is advancing its tourism potential through multiple infrastructure and beautification projects, with completion expected by August 2027. Renovation efforts at the Sri Rajarajeshwara Swamy temple are ongoing, costing Rs 72 crore, with 35% completion reported.
A 40-foot Lord Shiva statue and a proposed boating facility at the temple tank, funded by Rs 1.5 crore, aim to enhance visitor experience. Additional projects include a ropeway to Nampallygutta and installation of an Indian Air Force aircraft at a cost of Rs 10 lakh. Facilities have also been upgraded at the Bheemeshwara temple for devotee convenience, reflecting a comprehensive approach to tourism development.
