Venture Global Revises 2026 Earnings Forecast Amid Higher LNG Fees
Venture Global has updated its 2026 adjusted EBITDA forecast to $8.2 - $8.5 billion, driven by increased liquefaction fees and higher export volumes. The company's plans include shipping 147 - 154 cargoes from Calcasieu and 347 - 369 from Plaquemines, reflecting a significant increase in operations and revenue potential.
Venture Global anticipates adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) for 2026 in the range of $8.2 to $8.5 billion, revised from a previous estimate of $5.2 to $5.8 billion. This adjustment is primarily due to a rise in the fixed liquefaction fee for uncontracted 2026 LNG cargoes, now projected at $9.50 to $10.50 per million British thermal units (MMBtu), up from $5 to $6.
The company has also reported increased exports, with 130 cargoes and 481 trillion MMBtu sold in Q1, benefiting from expanded operations at its Plaquemines Project in Louisiana. The ongoing Middle East conflict has impacted global LNG supply, emphasizing the need for flexible shipment agreements, which may influence future contract negotiations.
