Vermont Immigration Legal Defense Fund Raises Over $850,000 to Expand Legal Services
The Vermont Immigration Legal Defense Fund (VILDF) has raised over $850,000 since its launch on May 8, 2025, aiming for $1 million to create a sustainable immigration legal defense system. VILDF announced awards to three organizations: AALV ($188,700), the Center for Justice Reform Clinic ($67,500), and the Vermont Asylum Assistance Project ($60,000) to enhance legal representation in removal proceedings. Fundraisers are planned for April 2026.
