Version One Secures $108M for New Funds Focused on Early-Stage Investment
Version One has successfully closed its fifth fund and third opportunities fund, raising a total of $108 million. This capital will support investments in emerging technologies such as AI, robotics, and deep tech.

Version One has announced the closing of Version One Fund V, raising $78 million, and Opportunities Fund III, which secured $30 million. The previous funds, Version One Ventures IV and Opportunities Fund II, concluded in 2021 with $79 million and $30 million respectively.
The firm is focusing on pre-seed and seed stage investments, emphasizing support for founders tackling unconventional problems. Venture capital is evolving, with a greater emphasis on differentiation through judgment and networks. The firm anticipates significant innovation in AI, robotics, and biology over the next decade, which could lead to substantial returns for early investors.
