Viet Nam and Singapore to Sign Action Plan for Comprehensive Strategic Partnership
Viet Nam and Singapore are set to sign an Action Plan to formalize their Comprehensive Strategic Partnership established in March 2025, following a 12.8% increase in bilateral trade to US$9.8 billion in the first 10 months of the year. Singapore remains the largest ASEAN investor in Viet Nam, with over US$88.4 billion across 4,277 projects, including the notable Bac Lieu LNG Power Plant. Additionally, Vietnamese investments in Singapore encompass 193 projects valued at over US$686 million.

Viet Nam and Singapore will sign an Action Plan to formalize their Comprehensive Strategic Partnership established in March 2025. In the first 10 months of 2025, their bilateral trade reached US$9.8 billion, a 12.8% increase year-on-year.
Singapore is the largest ASEAN investor in Viet Nam, with 4,277 projects worth over US$88.4 billion. The largest project is the Bac Lieu LNG Power Plant with US$4 billion in registered capital. Additionally, the Viet Nam-Singapore Industrial Parks (VSIPs) network spans 20 locations across 13 provinces, highlighting successful cooperation. Vietnamese investment in Singapore includes 193 projects valued at over US$686 million, making it the 10th largest source of foreign investment there.
