Vietnam and Cambodia Strengthen Defense Cooperation During New Year Visits
Vietnamese Ambassador Nguyễn Minh Vũ visited Cambodian military leaders to convey New Year wishes and emphasize defense cooperation. Meetings focused on enhancing solidarity, operational coordination, and economic connectivity between the nations, particularly in border areas. Both sides recognized the effective defense collaboration that has developed over the years and committed to expanding training and experience sharing to bolster military capabilities.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Cambodia Nguyễn Minh Vũ visited General Vong Pisen and General Mao Sophan on March 24-25 to convey New Year greetings. He stressed the importance of defense cooperation and regional stability, suggesting increased delegation exchanges and economic connectivity.
General Vong Pisen acknowledged the support from Vietnam, highlighting effective collaboration across various defense fields. Both sides agreed to enhance training and experience sharing to deepen defense ties. Vietnamese ministries also sent delegations to strengthen relations ahead of the Cambodian traditional New Year.
