Vietnam and Singapore Strengthen Trade and Investment Ties Amid International Financial Center Development
Vietnam and Singapore are enhancing their trade and investment relations, with Vietnam ranking as Singapore's 10th-largest trading partner. In January, bilateral trade reached approximately $3.6 billion, a 33.9% increase from last year. Singapore's investments in Vietnam exceed $90.9 billion across over 4,430 projects. Both countries aim to deepen cooperation on financial centers in Vietnam and expand the Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Parks network to 30 by 2026.

Vietnam and Singapore are expanding trade and investment ties, with Vietnam becoming Singapore's 10th-largest trading partner, achieving $3.6 billion in bilateral trade in January, a 33.9% increase. Singapore exported $2.34 billion and imported $1.26 billion from Vietnam.
Singapore holds a trade surplus of $1.08 billion, down 24.6% year-on-year. Singaporean investments in Vietnam total $90.9 billion across 4,430 projects. Both nations are collaborating on developing international financial centers in Vietnam and increasing the number of Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Parks to 30 by 2026. Vietnam aims to enhance cooperation in financial infrastructure, clean energy, and defense.
