Vietnam Forms Strategic Technologies Working Group; Enhancements in Defense and Infrastructure

On April 30, 2026, Vietnam's government formed a Working Group for Strategic Technologies, led by Vice Prime Minister Hồ Quốc Dũng and Deputy Minister Vũ Hải Quân. Its role includes consulting and proposing solutions to advance technologies in defense and social initiatives.
Concurrently, General Phan Văn Giang reviewed the operational plan 'Vòm phòng không bền vững' aimed at modernizing air defense systems. Additionally, Dong Nai city launched 10 new neighborhoods, and a new bridge in Huế was opened, enhancing local infrastructure.
