Vietnam Police Administration Celebrates 80th Anniversary with Digital Initiatives
The 80th anniversary of the Police Force for Administrative Management of Social Order was marked in Hanoi. The ceremony highlighted the force's pivotal role in digital transformation and announced significant savings projected from ongoing projects.

On April 12, 2026, Vietnam's Prime Minister Lê Minh Hưng attended a ceremony in Hanoi celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Police Force for Administrative Management of Social Order, established on April 18, 1946. The force was awarded the Order of Ho Chi Minh and the Order for the Defense of the Fatherland, First Class.
Project 06 aims to enhance digital public services and reduce administrative procedures, with projected savings of 46.207 billion dong over four years and over 12 trillion dong by 2025. The Prime Minister emphasized the need for improved data quality and cyber security. Technological solutions related to digital identity were also showcased during the event.
