Vietnamese Firms Enhance Manufacturing Capabilities and Join Global Supply Chains
Vietnamese companies are advancing in high-tech manufacturing, enhancing their roles within global supply networks. Key players are producing components for industries such as semiconductors and automation, with significant revenue growth reported in recent years.

Vietnamese firms are increasingly integrating into global supply chains, with Viet Nguyen entering the semiconductor sector in 2013. The company reported revenue growth from VND3 billion (US$113,826) in 2016 to approximately VND20 billion ($758,842) in 2020, projecting tenfold growth by 2025.
Viet Nguyen now produces 60% of chip testing components and aviation parts for firms like Boeing. IDEA Group focuses on automation, investing 30% of its budget in R&D and exporting to markets like the U.S. and Japan. Tien Thinh has secured orders from multinational companies after meeting international standards over six years, indicating a strong commitment to quality in manufacturing.
