Colorado Grants Enhance Semiconductor Sector in Southern Colorado
Five grants from the Colorado Office of Economic Development aim to bolster semiconductor and advanced industries in southern Colorado. The initiative seeks to expand market studies and marketing efforts, enhancing regional economies and competitiveness.

The Colorado Office of Economic Development has allocated five grants through the Colorado CHIPS Community Support Program to strengthen the semiconductor and advanced industries. Two grants of $50,000 will fund market studies in La Junta and Pueblo, analyzing competitive positioning and development opportunities.
Three additional grants, each worth $25,000, will support marketing activities in Boulder, Colorado Springs, and PuebloPlex. Advanced industries contribute nearly 30% to Colorado's total wage earnings, sales revenue, and exports. Strengthening this sector is critical for economic diversification, especially in rural areas.
