Vita Inclinata Secures $45.6M U.S. Army Contract for Vita Rescue Systems
Vita Inclinata has secured a five-year, $45.6 million contract from the U.S. Army to supply its Vita Rescue System (VRS), designated as the sole provider for system delivery, sustainment, and maintenance. The VRS, an advanced autonomous stabilization system, enhances the speed and safety of rescue operations, operating up to four times faster than current methods. This contract represents Vita's first Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity agreement with the Department of Defense, underscoring its role in modernizing U.S. rescue capabilities.

Vita Inclinata has been awarded a five-year, $45.6 million Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract by the U.S. Army Utility Helicopter Program Office to supply the Vita Rescue System (VRS).
The contract designates Vita as the sole provider, covering system delivery, sustainment, and maintenance across Department of Defense agencies. Initial deliveries are set for U.S. Army Active-Duty and Army National Guard units, following the Army's Airworthiness Release.
The VRS is an advanced autonomous stabilization system that enhances motion control of rescue hoists, improving operational speed and safety. Validated through testing by the U.S. Army Aeromedical Research Laboratory, the VRS operates up to four times faster than existing methods. This contract marks Vita's first IDIQ with the Department of Defense and highlights its role in modernizing U.S. rescue operations.
