VMRDA Allocates Rs. 1.85 Crore for Beautification Ahead of International Fleet Review 2026 in Visakhapatnam
VMRDA has allocated Rs. 1.85 crore for beautification projects at tourist sites in Visakhapatnam to enhance their appeal for the International Fleet Review 2026 and MILAN. VMRDA Chairman Pranav Gopal and Commissioner Tej Bharat inspected various locations, including museums and Beach Road areas, emphasizing the importance of tourism during the Navy exercises. Iranian naval officers were also welcomed during the inspection, highlighting effective management of the sites.

VMRDA has initiated beautification works at key tourist attractions in Visakhapatnam with a budget of Rs. 1.85 crore for the International Fleet Review 2026 and MILAN. Chairman Pranav Gopal and Commissioner Tej Bharat assessed the progress at sites like the Kurusura Submarine Museum and Kailasagiri, aiming to enhance visitor experience due to expected high attendance during Navy exercises.
During the inspection, Iranian naval officers visited and praised VMRDA's management of the museums. Chief Engineer Vinay Kumar and other officials were also present.
