The Volvo FH Aero long-distance truck, known for its optimized aerodynamics and technologies such as digital camera mirrors, offers up to 7% greater fuel efficiency compared to the standard Volvo FH. In 2025, nearly 33,000 units of the Volvo FH Aero were ordered in Europe. Volvo Trucks aims for net-zero emissions by 2040, employing a three-pronged technology strategy that includes battery-electric drives, fuel cell vehicles, and combustion engines powered by renewable fuels.
