Voyager Technologies Begins Construction of 150,000-Sq Ft Weapons Facility in Pueblo, Colorado
DEFENSE
Voyager Technologies has started construction of the Voyager American Defense Complex, a 150,000-square-foot weapons manufacturing facility in Pueblo, Colorado, responding to a Pentagon request to boost domestic defense. The site, part of PuebloPlex, previously housed the U.S.
Army Pueblo Chemical Depot. Local residents express concerns about transparency and environmental risks due to the area’s chemical weapons history. The project aims to generate 120 jobs and has received over $39 million in federal funding. Currently, only a stormwater permit has been secured, with further permits pending.
