Wallenius Marine has secured a contract for ship management of seven out of 14 new Shaper class RoRo newbuildings from Wallenius Wilhelmsen. The agreement encompasses technical management, crewing, procurement, and operational support, with vessel deliveries beginning in the second quarter of 2027.

The new vessels are designed for energy efficiency and will be equipped with dual-fuel engines; three will be prepared for methanol and four for LNG. Additionally, Wallenius Marine will supervise the construction of all 14 vessels in the series. This contract underscores Wallenius Marine's capacity for large-scale projects and commitment to cost-efficient operations without compromising safety or quality.
