Wallenius Marine Secures Ship Management Contract for Seven Shaper Class Newbuildings
Wallenius Marine has been awarded a ship management contract for seven new Shaper class RoRo vessels from Wallenius Wilhelmsen. The contract includes technical management, crewing, procurement, and operational support, with deliveries starting in Q2 2027. The vessels prioritize energy efficiency and will utilize dual-fuel engines, with three prepared for methanol and four for LNG. Wallenius Marine will also oversee site supervision during the construction of all 14 vessels in the series.
