Wallonie Entreprendre Boosts Eight Startups with €100,000 Financing Each
Wallonie Entreprendre has selected eight startups for its inaugural StartUp Boost program, each receiving €100,000. The initiative demonstrates significant market interest and aims to address gaps in early-stage startup financing.

Eight startups in Wallonia have secured €100,000 each through the StartUp Boost program, which received 92 applications. The program focuses on early-stage startups, defined as those under three years old that offer scalable technological or digital innovations.
From the initial applications, 68 underwent detailed evaluation, leading to 14 finalists who pitched to a selection committee. The funded startups include three in e-health, two in defense, two in HR Tech, and one in GreenTech.
Each must engage with specialized support organizations for ongoing assistance. Plans are in place for additional application rounds and increased annual financing by 2027, aiming for a budget of €1.5 million.
