WavEC Launches ORIOM Tool for Offshore Renewable Energy Installation and O&M Simulation
WavEC Offshore Renewables has introduced ORIOM, a Python-based modeling tool for simulating installation and O&M logistics and costs in offshore renewable energy projects. The tool is applicable to various technologies, including offshore wind, wave energy, and floating solar. ORIOM, developed over a decade and released under the PolyForm Shield License 1.0.0, aims to enhance transparency and reproducibility in analyses.
