Wavesight Limited has entered a partnership with Josh Tech Services Pvt Ltd to manufacture its Scorpion series of carrier-grade point-to-point and point-to-multipoint radios at Josh Tech's facility in Bengaluru, India. The agreement focuses on localizing production to support sectors such as public safety and smart cities, with an initial emphasis on models capable of delivering up to 1 Gbps over 5 km.

This aligns with the Government of India's Make in India initiative, enhancing product availability and serviceability. The partnership includes deployments for state police forces and critical infrastructure projects across multiple states and companies, including Oil and Natural Gas Corporation and Coal India subsidiaries.
