Weflo has announced the closure of a 5.5 billion won ($3.6 million) Series A funding round, bringing total funding to 11.8 billion won. The company specializes in AI-based diagnostic systems for drones and electric aircraft, essential for military operations as the demand for drone maintenance rises.
Following a successful Army combat experiment, Weflo signed a maintenance memorandum with Poland's WB Electronics, reflecting its growing international presence. The company plans to showcase its solutions in the U.S., targeting major defense UAV manufacturers to address inspection bottlenecks in mass production. As militaries adopt drones more widely, effective maintenance will be critical to operational readiness.
