Wired4Women Awards Partner with iSchoolAfrica to Enhance Digital Education
The Wired4Women Awards will donate R30,000 per category to iSchoolAfrica, aiming to improve digital education in South Africa's underserved areas. This partnership, which includes the implementation of the Coding and Robotics Programme, is designed to address educational inequalities and promote technology access for learners and teachers.

In 2026, the Wired4Women Awards will provide R30,000 for each of its 11 categories to support iSchoolAfrica in advancing digital education. The initiative aims to implement the iSchoolAfrica Coding and Robotics Programme, including a mobile iPad lab and teacher training.
This follows a similar donation in 2025 that benefited Athlone Girls High School in Johannesburg. Since 2009, iSchoolAfrica has impacted over 340 schools and received the global Project Zero Award for its Deaf App Development programme in 2025. The partnership emphasizes the importance of equity in education and technology access, which is critical for the future workforce in South Africa.
