Wiwynn Reports 95.7% Net Profit Increase Driven by AI Demand; Pegatron and Inventec Face Revenue Declines
Wiwynn Corp reported a remarkable 95.7% increase in net profit for the last quarter, reaching NT$13.79 billion, driven by strong demand for AI servers and data center equipment, with revenue soaring 152.9% to NT$292.44 billion. In contrast, Pegatron and Inventec faced revenue declines of 2.29% and 10.95%, respectively, while Compal Electronics also reported a 16.8% annual sales drop, highlighting the varying impacts of AI demand across the industry.

Wiwynn Corp reported a 95.7% year-on-year increase in net profit for the last quarter to NT$13.79 billion (US$436.46 million), attributed to strong demand for AI servers and data center equipment. Earnings per share rose to NT$74.21, nearly doubling from NT$37.92 a year earlier.
Revenue surged 152.9% year-on-year to a record NT$292.44 billion, with over half from AI-related products. Wiwynn has order visibility through next year. In contrast, Pegatron Corp announced a 2.29% year-on-year revenue decline to NT$319.52 billion, despite a 23.91% quarterly growth driven by peak smartphone season.
Inventec Corp reported a 10.95% revenue drop to NT$64.35 billion, with notebook shipments down 1% year-on-year. Compal Electronics Inc saw a 16.8% annual sales decline to NT$190.85 billion, with notebook shipments down 12.8%. AI server sales contributed significantly to server business growth across companies.
