Wood Secures $65M Contract Extension with Woodside for North West Shelf Project in Australia
Wood has secured a two-year contract extension worth up to $65 million (AUD 100 million) with Woodside to provide brownfield engineering, procurement, and construction management services for the North West Shelf (NWS) Project in Western Australia. The NWS Project is a major liquefied natural gas development that has supplied energy to Western Australia and global customers for decades.
The contract extension will focus on asset modifications aimed at enhancing production, reliability, and longevity across NWS offshore facilities, including the North Rankin Complex, Goodwyn A platform, and Okha FPSO. The project will be managed by a team of 140 Wood employees based in Perth, supported by Wood's global engineering network.
