Yamaha Rightwaters Achieves Seven Years of Marine Conservation Efforts
Yamaha Rightwaters celebrated its seventh anniversary on June 8, 2026, marking significant advancements in marine conservation. The initiative has removed over 264 tons of debris and restored more than 155 million oysters in U.S. waters, contributing to ecosystem health and sustainability.

Yamaha Rightwaters has removed over 264 tons of debris from U.S. water bodies and restored 155 million oysters in the past year. The program also engaged 31,752 students in conservation initiatives and removed 20,512 invasive lionfish during the Emerald Coast Open 2026.
A five-year partnership with The University of Georgia includes providing multiple Yamaha outboards, facilitating marine research and education. Additionally, Yamaha Rightwaters supported Davidson College in converting a pontoon vessel to solar power.
Their collaboration with Hubbs-SeaWorld Research Institute has enhanced marine mammal rescue efforts in Florida and California. New research indicates that restored oyster reefs significantly enhance marsh growth along the Georgia coast, emphasizing the importance of habitat restoration.
