Yamuna Authority to Present Investment Opportunities at Japanese City Meeting in Delhi
Yamuna Authority officials will meet with representatives of Japanese companies in Delhi to present the blueprint for a proposed Japanese City in Sector 5A. Covering 395 hectares, the city aims to be an industrial and residential hub for Japanese firms in India.
The meeting, organized with the Japan External Trade Organisation, will highlight sector-specific investment opportunities in areas like artificial intelligence, semiconductors, green hydrogen, solar energy, and automobiles. The initiative plans to create a complete living ecosystem, including housing, schools, and hospitals.
Officials will discuss investment incentives in the YEIDA region and seek feedback on land use and infrastructure. The meeting will also showcase major projects in Yamuna City, including an airport and the Medical Device Park, focusing on collaboration opportunities with Japanese firms. A YEIDA team previously studied the Japanese industrial zone in Neemrana for insights on development.
