DEFENSE

Brigadier General Mustapha Jimoh, Commander of One Brigade, Nigerian Army in Gusau, announced that terrorist and banditry activities in Zamfara State have significantly decreased, allowing for safer travel within the region. This improvement is attributed to sustained military operations under Operation Fansan Yamma and collaboration with other security agencies.

Jimoh stated that residents can now travel freely between Funtua and Gusau without threats. Governor Dauda Lawal, represented at the event, praised the military's efforts in restoring peace and committed to ongoing support for security agencies.
