ZAT and I&C Energo Awarded Contracts for Dukovany Nuclear Plant Control System Modernization

Contracts have been awarded to ZAT and I&C Energo for a ten-year modernization project of the control systems at the Dukovany nuclear power plant in the Czech Republic. The project involves replacing unit control systems for all four generating units, ensuring no negative impact on operations. ZAT has been developing the SandRA control systems since 2020, while I&C Energo will provide installation and engineering services. ČEZ invests about CZK7 billion (USD 333 million) yearly in nuclear plants, aiming for enhanced efficiency and long-term operation, with the goal of extending unit operation until 2045-2047.
