Zelim has opened a new office at COVE in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, to enhance its presence in the North American maritime market. This strategic expansion, effective April 2026, will support ongoing partnerships and the deployment of AI-enabled technologies for maritime safety and security.

Zelim has launched a new office in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, at the COVE ocean facility, aimed at bolstering its operations in the North American maritime sector starting April 2026. This move follows the company's established presence in the Canadian cruise, ferry, and defense industries, including a recent contract with BC Ferries to equip new ferries with its ZOE detection technology.
The office will be headed by Brigadier General (Retired) Tom Dunne, who brings extensive search and rescue experience. Zelim's Canadian expansion is expected to foster new partnerships and enhance collaboration within the maritime industry, contributing to economic growth in the region.
