This capital aims to advance the development of a 'Physical AI Agent' to enhance efficiency in construction site management, addressing industry challenges such as labor shortages and the need for improved operational efficiency.

Zen Intelligence Co., Ltd. has completed a Series A funding round totaling 2.5 billion yen, incorporating a 1 billion yen commitment from four financial institutions. The capital will primarily support the development of a 'Physical AI Agent' designed to automate and enhance construction management tasks.
The construction industry faces significant challenges, including labor shortages and the necessity to maintain quality while adhering to overtime regulations. Traditional uses of generative AI have been limited in physical environments; hence, Zen Intelligence's initiative aims to integrate advanced AI capabilities to manage and optimize construction sites.
Scheduled for release in mid-April 2026, 'zenshot AI' will further the company's objectives. This funding will bolster research, development, and deployment efforts in AI, hardware, and robotics, crucial for improving construction supply capacity.
