ZeroTier Quantum Moves to Release Candidate 2, Nears General Availability
ZeroTier has launched release candidate 2 (RC2) for ZeroTier Quantum, advancing toward general availability. The platform aims to address quantum threats with enhanced security and performance features.

ZeroTier has announced release candidate 2 (RC2) for ZeroTier Quantum, marking its approach to general availability. This platform integrates quantum-resistant cryptographic methods and a zero-trust architecture to counter potential threats effectively.
A comprehensive third-party code audit and penetration test are in progress as part of the roadmap to commercial release. The peer-to-peer mesh architecture enhances performance, achieving 30% lower CPU utilization compared to competitors.
ZeroTier is also establishing commercial relationships in sectors that include defense and critical manufacturing. The final validation testing is underway with select enterprise partners ahead of the official launch later this year.
