Zhonghuan New Energy and Suzhou Heimian to Launch Joint Venture for Space Solar Technology
Zhonghuan New Energy plans to establish a joint venture with Suzhou Heimian to develop space photovoltaic cell technology. The project, with a registered capital of RMB 5 million, will focus on perovskite/silicon tandem photovoltaic cells over a two-year timeframe.

Zhonghuan New Energy's subsidiary, Zhonghuan Low-Carbon, will partner with Suzhou Heimian to create a joint venture named Zhonghuan Heimian Space Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd. The venture will develop core technologies for space applications, with a clear division of labor: Zhonghuan Low-Carbon will focus on R&D and production of silicon heterojunction cells, while Suzhou Heimian will handle process optimization and performance testing.
Both parties will collaborate with Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. This initiative aims to enhance the industrialization of high-efficiency tandem photovoltaic cells in aerospace applications, potentially impacting the future of space energy solutions.
