Zimbabwe National Army and Libyan National Army Leaders Emphasize Security and Development Efforts
Leaders from the Zimbabwe National Army and the Libyan National Army have stressed the importance of national security and development. Lt Gen Asher Walter Tapfumaneyi of the ZNA emphasized vigilance against threats to maintain peace, while Marshal Khalifa Haftar highlighted the need for the Libyan armed forces to be prepared to defend the nation's sovereignty and resources.

The Commander of the Zimbabwe National Army, Lt Gen Asher Walter Tapfumaneyi, stated the army's commitment to ensuring national peace and development, during a command handover at Kaguvi Barracks in Harare. He emphasized the importance of vigilance against contemporary threats.
Meanwhile, in Libya, Marshal Khalifa Haftar, Commander of the Libyan National Army, reiterated the need for security and stability, asserting the armed forces' readiness to defend the country’s sovereignty and resources. Both leaders underscored the significance of military traditions and effective leadership in achieving these goals.
