Zorronet Achieves 98% Success in Israel Railways Pilot, Secures Framework Agreement for AI Detection Systems
Zorronet's successful pilot with Israel Railways, yielding a 98% success rate in wildlife deterrence, has led to a framework supply agreement for AI detection systems. This project underscores the critical role of advanced technology in protecting infrastructure and wildlife, with potential for broader deployment across Israel's railway network.

Zorronet has entered a framework supply agreement with Israel Railways after completing a successful pilot project with a funding of NIS 800,000. The initiative, which achieved a 98% success rate in deterring wildlife from railway tracks, will involve the installation of AI-enabled alert stations capable of detecting animals and humans within a 120-meter radius.
The agreement spans an initial term of 12 months and covers 15 stations, with plans for further expansion. Israel Railways operates approximately 1,700 kilometers of track, indicating significant potential for widespread application.
The integration of this technology aims to enhance safety and reduce damage to railway infrastructure while preserving ecological corridors. Zorronet’s system is also being adapted for security uses in collaboration with the Israel Defense Forces and other partners.
