The Ostwind 4 project, developed by 50Hertz Transmission GmbH, will implement a 525 kV high-voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission line in the Baltic Sea, Germany. This project represents the first use of this voltage level and HVDC technology by 50Hertz in the region. The installation aims to enhance grid connectivity and support renewable energy integration.
